OK I am really cranky today and I feel PMSy.  Egads, maybe I'm gearing up for my first postpartum period?

I've been kind of hoping I'd just segueway into menopause or something because I really, really - HATE my period.

But I am feeling bitchy and craving salt and sweets and just feeling rather out of sorts and it is not pleasant for anyone in our home.

I did do some Wii Fit today and a bit of time on the elliptical while Son and Hubs were at Kung Fu.  But Baby Girl was cranky so I didn't get to stay on for long.

I think I need a nice bubble bath tonight.

Tomorrow is an awards thingy at Son's Kung Fu and then on Sunday we have our last Xmas to attend (with my adoptive family) - it should be fun.  My oldest niece has 2 lil ones that adore Son and Baby Girl (they are also quite fond of Step-Daughter but she's with her mom).

And I think there might be turkey.  I didn't have ANY turkey over the holidays so I wouldn't mind having some.


No change in my weight today.

Am trying 1G1D1Y's idea about using Silly Bandz to track my liquid intake.

I think it's helping.

OK - I'm not feeling very interesting today so I'll sign off for now...



  1. On days like that I go to bed early because I am a danger to myself and others.

    I spend 10 days a month (1/3 of my life!) dealing with my period + PMS so I hear ya on the hate.

    I hope you feel better tomorrow.

  2. I got my period yesterday and have been feeling like eating the butt out of a Jif jar since then. Salty AND sweet! Damn peanut butter and mother nature.

  4. Silly bandz to track water intake is GENIUS!

    When I get my period it kind of makes me want to either scream or punch someone in the face. OR both. And eat about 16 Kit Kats.
