Day 118 - Non-scale victory

OK this one is very personal.

And I am really proud of it personally but it's also a very humbling confession.

I think I've mentioned that I love a good soak in the tub.

We've got a standard sized tub in the place where we reside.

I just noticed the other day that the water all comes out.

Not sure what I mean?

Well, without using visuals... here's the skivvy.

Previously, when I had a bath, I would have to get out of the tub right away or the water would drain away from my feet and legs but would stay behind me because my thighs and behind acted like a dam.

But I just noticed the other day that the water was draining and that my thighs and behind were no longer creating an impasse for the water.

So that's my NSV.

Even if I find it a bit embarrassing to blog about.

  1. sometimes its the small victories that make us realize how far we have come. Personally this was one of my best victories so far as well. Keep up the good work!

  2. Jayne, you totally rock! Don't be embarrassed as these are the little things that make the WHOLE of it worthwhile! Yay for you!

  3. I think it is totally fabulous that you are no longer damming the tub. :D

It is the little NSVs, all stacked up, one after the other that really make all of our hard work so worth it.

I am looking forward to being able to use my tub, once again. It has been a loooong time since I had a bubble bath.

  4. You are amazing!! Keep up to good work!!

  5. PS LOL Keep up THE good work!

  6. I'm alittle jealous! Ok, ALOT jealous! I would love to take a bath without creating the dam effect. It always pissed me off that we didn't have a garden tub so it didn't matter how fat my ass was.

    Yay for your NSV moment!!!!

  7. Haha it may be embarrassing to blog about but that is really a great accomplishment!! Congrats!!

I'm a new follower! Feel free to come link up with us at the Weekly Weigh-In meme!

  8. Thanks -- this one was really hard to share.

  9. It's the little things that mean a lot :)
