I really wasn't keen on the boot camp I tired and it was really hard on my knees.
But learning to bellydance (something I've been curious about since I was in my early 20s) or learning burlesque (something I've sort of fantasized about for about 5 or 6 years) could be awesome health-wise and self-esteem wise plus Hubs would be keen on it for his own nefarious reasons...
I did a bellydancing workshop last year ... it was hard but fun. My belly doesn't move that way. Ha!

Okay, so I'm definitely wishing I could move to Canada.. because free trial belly-dancing and burlesque classes sound FANTABULOUS!!
ReplyDeleteI want to do a burlesque class, after seeing Burlesque.. watching the MOVIE made me feel sexy.. lol
I'm anxious to hear how you liked it! As a bellydancer, I can definitely say it's great for exercise and your core muscles, as well as building self-esteem. And you're going to meet some wonderful people of all shapes, sizes and ages, if it's anything like dancing in my corner of the world!
