The first 8 books in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
I read the 1st one last night.
I've been forewarned that it differs from the TV series, "True Blood" but I liked the first book so we'll see how it goes.
Had a horrible migraine yesterday and basically felt crappy.
Seem to be feeling better so far today - let's hope that continues.
Am still very tired, even though I think I slept better last night.
Am feeling very "brain fuzzy" - I think I need some tea...
I have all the books and I love them. I am in the middle of rereading them for the third time. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI read the books before the series came out on tv. LOVE THEM!
ReplyDeleteMigraines suck. Hope you feel better today!
I love True Blood, and am waiting until they're done with that series to read the books, but I want to very badly!
ReplyDeleteMe, I'm currently reading Ozzy Osbourne's autobiography, "I Am Ozzy." It's fantastic.

Goodbye, Fat Girl!
OMG, I love the books.. they are SO MUCH BETTER than the series (like most things are).. so much more details, and things are different.. but in a good way..
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how ya like all of them.. :)
I LOVE your blog. I, too, am battling the budge and I've never even had children! I'm 40, so I can't say it's baby fat....!!! Anyway, I used to weight 410 lbs and now I'm at 333 lbs. I'm in the process of applying for the weight loss surgery. I need help badly!! Come visit my blog at: http//missyschranz.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThose books are great fluff reading! I've never watched True Blood, but have heard that after the first few episodes they kind of veered away from the book storyline.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling much better today. Migraines are icky!
Tea fixes everything. (Yes, I'm very addicted to sweet tea. LOL) I'm glad you're feeling better today. Migraines really suck. I've had my share of them and the only thing that works for me is Excedrin Migraine.
ReplyDeleteLadies, it's good to hear that you like the books - I enjoyed the first one -- didn't end up doing any reading yet today though...
ReplyDelete@Missy - I'll come check out your blog - 410 to 333! Damn woman - that's awesome!
@Stephanie - OK this is probably the silliest question ever but WHAT IS SWEET TEA? Is it hot, brewed tea with sugar or something added or is it an American way of saying iced tea??
P.S. re: migraines - because I am still breast-feeding Baby Girl, there's more of a restriction on what I can take to help deal with my migraines...
