So 1G1D1Y and M. and myself have been working out on Monday and Wednesday nights.
It's a lot of fun, but we're still working hard and sweating but we aren't injuring ourselves which was, unfortunately, the case for 1G1D1Y and I when we were in that boot camp together since the instructor just did not seem to understand that 1G1D1Y and I did need some accommodations to how certain things were done re: our knee issues and other variables.
But I enjoy the atmosphere and energy because the 3 of us get along well and we keep each other motivated (though of the 3 of us, I am the biggest slacker because I forget to breathe).
Seriously, I ALWAYS forget to breathe!
I don't know why it's so damn hard, but I am concentrating so hard on trying to do the moves right that I forget to breathe.
Sometimes I am such a goof.
OK, Baby Girl is screeching -- I guess it's time to head upstairs.
G'night my friends!
I have to work to breathe too. In fact, my inclination when trying to push myself is to hold my breath. But the breathing helps push through and refresh me when I feel like I need a boost.
ReplyDeleteBreathing is a strange thing when you're working out. You wouldn't think you'd have to consciously think about it, right?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're having a great workout, and really enjoying yourself. Great job!

It's funny 'cause I sometimes forget to breathe, too. I literally have to keep telling myself to keep taking deeps breaths in and out. LOL. I'm glad you've been having good workouts, though. :-)

ReplyDeleteYou're not slacking because you're not breathing... we're just worried you're going to pass out!
ReplyDeleteMuscles need oxygen! You want to run through some stuff before M arrives on Monday? I can show you have to remember to breath for some of the stuff.
